Thanks to all for the very generous and kind birthday greetings from everywhere in the world! I was intentionally off the grid for the past few days and just reading all the messages now. My cup overflows with gratitude for all these graces, indeed.

Honored to host our first international event with the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights! Completed 2021-2024 term as Faculty Director of our NDLS Human Rights LLM Program, and today signed my acceptance of reappointment to another term as Faculty Director 2024-2027. I also accepted the separate appointment as Faculty Director of the NDLS Global Human Rights Clinic from 2024 until 2027.A privilege to bear these joint responsibilities to lead, serve, continue to build our historic collaborations, and live our mission for both the Program and the Clinic within the University and elsewhere around the world. It's a blessing to do this with our small but steadily growing core staff team --- Staff Attorney JEAN MARC BRISSAU, LL.B., LLM, Clinic Legal Fellow Josemaría Rodríguez Conca, Clinic Office Manager Mary Jo Anderson, and soon Clinic Legal Fellow Irene Pamblanco Esteve joining us this June, and Faisal Yamil Meneses joining us also soon as our Clinic Research Fellow this year. Our students are increasing, the projects are expanding, and this community of human rights lawyers throughout the world is actively working in international law and human rights for so many who are overlooked, vulnerable, and in search of a life of human dignity. More news to come, and it's only been six months!
